Founded in 2009 by world-renowned choreographer Shannon Mather, Mather Dance Company was created with a clear vision: to build a home where dancers could receive elite training while developing confidence, artistry, and longevity in the dance industry.

Throughout the years, Mather Dance Company has been home to some of the industry’s most accomplished and sought-after dancers. Our studio has grown into a respected training ground where passion meets discipline, and where dancers are challenged to reach their highest potential in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Our mission is to train and develop well-rounded, confident pre-professional dancers ages 5–18, equipping them with the technical, artistic, and professional tools necessary to succeed in today’s competitive dance industry.

We are committed to nurturing dancers not only as performers, but as individuals—fostering confidence, work ethic, resilience, and a strong sense of self both on and off the stage.
